Christian Games
To counter violence and sex computer games, such as Grand Theft Auto, Christian
game developers are creating Bible games, where the player escapes the Egyptians
through the Red Sea or converts Roman soldiers by touching them with a sword.
The games are designed to teach Christian values.
Here's a list of other Christian family value games under development:
- The Crusades Game where players trek from various kindoms in Europe to the
Middle East to slay the Saracens with swords and plunder holy relics and treasure.
Huge and bloody battles must be fought, heathens must be ravaged and slain
before the Crusaders reach Jerusalem.
- The Inquisition Game where the player is a priest torturing confessions
out of witches and heretics in order to save their souls before they burn
them at the stake. Players learn to use the rack, the iron maiden, thumbscrews,
and more to inflict pain without killing the heretics before they confess.
- Conquistador Game where Spanish soldiers accompanied by their priests invade
Mexico, Central and South America to convert the Aztecs, Mayans, and Incas
to Christianity and plunder their civilizations of their treasures for God
and Queen.
- The more modern Right to Life Game where players learn to demonstrate and
protest birth control and abortions. Upper levels of this game advance to
clinic bombing and learn sniper strategies, doctor identification, and more.
- Education Game: this is a strategy game designed to practice tactics for
imposing the teaching of creationism and revised history in the public school
system. Teach students how to snitch on their classmates caught not praying.
Watch for students asking questions and report them to the thought moniter.
Subtlety and sneakiness are required to play this game successfully.
- The Celibacy Game: (For mature only) There are two opposite rôles
in this gamethe Resister of Temptation and the Forgiven Sinner. The
game consists of exposing the player to temptation in the form of photographs
of naked children and fornicating adults. The player either works his way
past each temptation for points or succumbs to it and gains points by avoiding
discovery. Succumbing to temptation is the easiest way to win, since the Sinner's
ultimate salvation is confession to his bishop and nominal atonement.
