Investigating Journalists

The free press is supposed to be the fourth power in the balance of power in U.S. government. The other three are the executive branch, the legislative branch, and the judicial branch, no matter what governmental level is involved. When the three branches are controlled and no longer balanced, the "Fourth Estate" is supposed to investigate and inform the public so that democracy can put the balance back.

What happens when all four factors fail? The last seven years are the result.

These trusted newscasters failed to report the facts, question their unnamed government sources, use any skepticism in feeding us the Bush administration's fairy tales.

Shame on them!

Note that Fox News "journalists" are not pictured because they don't even pretend to be journalists.

And you don't even want to hear about the New York Times' and the Washington Post's lack of skepticism in reporting the Administration's "intelligence".
